On Medical has retained the Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation for a third year, demonstrating the company’s continuing commitment to ICT security.
A Government-backed scheme, Cyber Essentials Plus helps protect organisations against a range of cyber-attacks. The accreditation has been issued by InfoSec Governance Ltd following an audit by assessor Marcus Dempsey.
It reaffirms On Medical’s desire to maintain only the highest standards in relation to data and information security, as also shown by our ISO 27001 certification.
Clint Milnes, On Medical’s Chief Information Officer, said; “Obtaining the certification for the third year running has been attained despite what has been a particularly challenging time.
Whilst we have no doubt come a long way in terms of information and cybersecurity, this year’s accreditation comes straight on the back of the additional work required to enable everyone to work from home and to ensure a safe return to the office during the Covid-19 pandemic. This made the accreditation all the more challenging this year, coupled with some changes to the certification process from last year.“
Stuart Dent, IT Technical Manager, added; “Passing the certification for the third year running is testament to the hard work and processes that the technical team have implemented.
“Much of this work goes unseen to make sure our IT systems remain secure. Cyber Essentials Plus complements our ISO 27001 accreditation to give us greater assurance that our systems are robust and that we have adequate control measures in place to prevent and react quickly to cyber threats to protect the information we hold.”
