Covid-19 Update

Following on from recent developments, and the latest government advice, please see below the latest Covid-19 update from On Medical.

Capacity

All staff are now working remotely other than to collect and send post. Our robust telephony and remote desktop systems have allowed us to maintain a high standard of service during this transition.

Medical Appointments

As you are aware, MedCo has permitted virtual examinations during this period of restricted movement. 

We have secured the agreement of a significant number of medical experts who are willing to carry out virtual examinations with nationwide coverage. Such examinations are permitted where the expert, claimant and solicitor agree.   

With this in mind, and in order to protect the wellbeing of your clients and our medical experts, we have taken the business decision to rearrange all face-to-face appointments which were scheduled to take place before the end of the current period of lockdown (up to and including the 13th April 2020).

Until such time as we receive your permission to book virtual examinations, we will place matters on hold until such time that a face-to-face appointment can take place in accordance with Government advice. 

Where you have already granted permission for us to arrange a virtual examination, we will do so without delay and provide you and your client with full details. 

Where you have not yet granted your permission, but wish to do so, please get in touch with us so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

We are closely monitoring Government advice and will update you regarding our procedures in line with any updates.
